Building a Home

Start and return to a construction project

Start company projects or open projects shared by homeowners, using explicit access for every property.

How to use it

  1. A homeowner can start Build a Home using Ark+ and invite your verified email from Building team. A company owner or administrator can instead open Company workspace and create a project using their existing Ark+ property capacity. Company setup does not create a subscription or change pricing. Add property details when known.
  2. Activate a first-time invitation within seven days using its temporary credentials and a new password. Existing builders sign in with their current account. Ask the homeowner to resend an expired invitation.
  3. Open Project portfolio and search by project, property name, or an address recorded in planned property details. Filter active projects, work needing attention, handoff not accepted, or completed projects. Sort by recent updates, name, or target completion.
  4. Open a project to work on its records. The property name, project name, and current section identify your context. Use Switch project for another project or Project portfolio to return to all work.
  5. Use Switch workspace only to open a home where you have separate homeowner membership. Client project access does not grant access to the homeowner dashboard. Security manages your personal account credentials.

Active construction collaboration requires the household’s Ark+ entitlement. Household roles and builder permissions still apply. Existing history is preserved when access changes.
