Inventory & Locations
Review a proposal or restore plan history
Save a separate proposal, compare geometry, and apply a reviewed snapshot as a new active revision.
How to use it
- Open History & proposals in the floor workspace. Save or resolve any local draft, name an alternative and choose Create separate proposal. The proposal header distinguishes it from the active property record.
- Edit the proposal using the same rooms, geometry and import tools. Proposed rooms remain design spaces; the proposal does not create real room locations or reassign installed records. Returning to the active plan retains the proposal separately.
- Choose Review promotion to compare the active and proposed snapshots, including changes across floors. Inspect the miniature and change list, review linked locations and explicitly confirm before Promote reviewed proposal.
- A changed active revision or changed proposal invalidates the review. Review again instead of overwriting another user’s work. Concurrent overlapping edits retain the losing draft; this is not simultaneous automatic geometry merging.
- To recover history, choose Compare revision, inspect the changes, then Restore as new revision. Earlier saved revisions and downloaded handoff files remain unchanged. Undo/Redo edits the current session; historical restoration creates a new audited active revision.
- The fictional live demo offers the same proposal/history journey with data stored only in this browser. Reset Demo removes its sample revisions and proposals.
Available with core home records on all plans. Record, storage and processing allowances apply; household roles determine editing access.
