Promote a reported mortgage balance into loan history

A reviewed observation can add the principal balance, original principal, interest rate and origination date to an existing loan. Everything else stays as reported evidence.

How to use it

  1. Open Finance, Finance tools, Connections and find the private mortgage observation.
  2. Choose Review for loan history and pick the existing loan it belongs to.
  3. Check the values. Only principal balance (dated to the observation), original principal, interest rate and origination date can be promoted, with their source and date recorded.
  4. Your own values are kept. A balance you entered for the same day is preserved.
  5. Escrow, last payment, year-to-date amounts, fees, taxes and next payment are never promoted, and no balance or tax liability is worked out from transactions. Enter a refinance or payoff yourself.

Requires private financial connections (Ark+ and an enabled provider). Editors only.
