Match bank activity to records you already have

ResiArk suggests matches between posted bank outflows and expenses you already recorded. You accept or dismiss each one; nothing is posted automatically.

How to use it

  1. Connect an institution first (see Private financial connections). Open Finance, Finance tools, Reconciliation and find Match bank activity to records you already have.
  2. Choose Find matches. Suggestions pair a posted outflow with a recorded expense, project expense or maintenance cost by amount and date. Amounts must be close and dates within the allowed window.
  3. Accept a match to link the transaction to the existing record. No expense is created and the record itself is not changed. Dismiss a suggestion and it will not return.
  4. Set a category per transaction and save category rules. Rules only suggest a category; sync never overwrites the one you chose.
  5. Split a payment across properties only when every property is editable by you and linked to the same account, and the parts add up to the full amount.
  6. If a bank later changes or removes a transaction you matched, the match is marked Needs review. Nothing is silently changed. Keep it as reviewed or reverse it.
  7. Matching handles one transaction to one record. Refunds, partial payments and many-to-one settlements are not matched.

Bank connections require Ark+ and an enabled provider, and production bank access must be separately activated by the operator. Editors only; viewers cannot accept matches.
