Let the assistant propose a change, then confirm or undo it

Describe a change in plain words or use the form. The assistant drafts it, shows exactly what will change and saves nothing until you confirm. You can undo for 30 minutes.

How to use it

  1. Open Ask your home records and choose Propose a change. Describe the change or fill in the form. Drafting from plain text uses one assistant question; the form does not.
  2. Review the proposal card. It lists the record and the fields that will change. Nothing has been saved yet.
  3. Choose Confirm to apply it, or Cancel. A proposal expires after 10 minutes and cannot be applied if the record has changed since the preview; propose it again.
  4. After a change is applied, choose Undo within 30 minutes. Undo works only while the changed fields still hold the values the assistant wrote. Applied changes are listed in Activity.
  5. The assistant can create or update inventory items, adjust stock, create, update or complete maintenance, and change reminder due dates or reminder lead days. It cannot delete anything or change equipment, documents or providers.
  6. Closing or reloading the page drops an unconfirmed proposal. Asking questions stays read-only.

Available on every plan that includes the record assistant. Requires edit access; viewers can ask questions but not propose changes.
