Compare repairing with replacing equipment
Enter your own repair and replacement quotes, expected life and any warranty offset. ResiArk shows the arithmetic, the formula and a history of each change. It does not give advice or predict failures.
How to use it
- Open Planning and find Repair or replace, or open equipment and choose Compare repair and replacement.
- Add the options you are considering with the quote, expected remaining or new life, any warranty offset and the time horizon you care about.
- Review the comparison. Each result shows the formula and the figures it used, so you can see why one option costs less over the horizon.
- Change a quote, a warranty or the horizon and save. The history keeps earlier versions and shows what changed between them.
- Link a quote document if you have one and type the figures yourself; nothing is read from the document automatically. Choose Schedule maintenance to pre-fill a task.
