Maintenance & Planning
Report a Problem
Document a problem, coordinate repairs and verify the outcome.
How to use it
- Open Guided Actions and choose Report a Problem. Name the workflow and save it.
- Describe the problem: Record discovery date, location, affected equipment, urgency and safety concerns.
- Collect evidence: Attach photos and documents in Documents, then record their titles here.
- Coordinate repair: Record provider, appointment, estimate and repair task reference.
- Verify resolution: Record actual work, costs, verification date and any follow-up needed.
- Link supporting existing records and add dated inspections, appointments or communications in Timeline and inspections. Save each dated record explicitly.
- Create follow-ups in the workflow to reuse assigned Maintenance and its recurrence/reminder controls.
- Owners preparing transfer or caregiver information can select linked records for a verified recipient's private copy. Review every selection; document originals use the separate curated package. Recipients accept while signed in; owners can revoke future access, but downloaded copies cannot be recalled.
- Save required outcomes before completing. Reopen with In progress when further work is needed. Workflow and journal records are visible to the household; no legal authority, coverage or payment confirmation is inferred.
Available with core home records on all plans. Record, storage and processing allowances apply; household roles determine editing access.
