Review appliance photo identification
Use optional recognition as a reviewed starting point, preserving the source photo and your final corrections.
How to use it
- Add or edit an appliance and select a product or label photograph. Keep the photo selected while reading.
- Open Identify equipment from its photo or logo. Confirm you will review suggestions and choose Read photo with local recognition when the service is available. This uses the document AI allowance.
- Choose the object to review, compare the evidence with the original and select only the fields you trust. Choose Use selected photo suggestions, correct any mistakes and save the appliance normally.
- If a response is interrupted, use Recover photo reading before starting another operation. After reload, a pending source may need the same original selected again.
- Recognition is uncertain and depends on configured model support. Manual entry and label text extraction remain available. Check existing equipment matches before creating another record.
Available with core home records on all plans. Record, storage and processing allowances apply; household roles determine editing access.
