Connected equipment

Review equipment insights and measured appliance costs

Inspect short operating cycles, comparable-weather baselines, vendor program completion and effective-tariff costs before creating maintenance.

How to use it

  1. Open Connected Services → Advanced equipment notifications and insights, choose connected equipment, then open Equipment evidence, costs and maintenance. Analyze and save insights uses up to 10,000 retained observations from the latest 90 days and discloses partial history.
  2. Open Supporting evidence for each insight. Short-cycle review requires complete observed starts and stops; environmental baselines need seven comparable covered days with outdoor measurements. Missing evidence is unavailable and low-confidence comparisons explain uncontrolled conditions.
  3. An appliance vendor finished state supports program completion. A simple running-to-off transition may mean a pause or interruption and is shown as unconfirmed. Repeated finished snapshots share one lifecycle insight.
  4. For actionable evidence, choose Create linked maintenance task. Retries reuse its linked task, and a later analysis reuses an existing open task of the same kind for this device. Dismiss insight preserves your decision for that episode.
  5. Under Measured appliance energy cost, add an effective tariff version, currency, time zone and optional peak period. Rates are per kWh; UI effective dates are UTC midnight. A new version closes the preceding open version. Revisions replace versions from the chosen start onward.
  6. Costs require supported measured watts or explicitly declared cumulative Wh. Missing observations, counter resets and missing tariffs remain visible. Variable energy cost excludes fixed fees, taxes and household allocations and does not create a second financial expense.

Saving analysis, tariffs and maintenance requires Ark+, household editing permission and appropriate equipment mapping. Readable retained evidence remains subject to household access. Real-device verification depends on connected equipment and available measurements.
