Identify products with QR codes and barcodes

How to use it

1. In a supported item/equipment form, open Identify from QR / barcode. Choose Scan Barcode or QR, or enter Product code and choose Review code.
2. Compare encoded fields or possible saved-household matches with the product label, then choose Use reviewed information. Only empty fields are filled; edit anything incorrect before saving.
3. Supported decoding includes QR, UPC-A/UPC-E, EAN-8/EAN-13, Data Matrix and Code 128. UPC-E can be decoded but may need manual completion; unknown codes do not supply product details. GS1 links may contain GTIN and serial; a UPC alone does not identify a unit serial.
4. URLs are not fetched for product data. Review manufacturer URLs yourself. There is no connected universal appliance database. Manual entry, attachment extraction and existing photo capture remain available.
