Connect supported equipment monitoring

Connect an enabled official provider, choose discovered devices and review reported timestamps. Ark+ is required for ongoing monitoring.

How to use it

  1. Open Connected Services. Review the manufacturer availability and prerequisites before entering credentials. Operator configuration is required before an adapter appears in the enabled provider selector.
  2. Rachio uses an owner API key. SolarEdge Monitoring uses a monitoring API key and authorized site ID. Enphase v4 and approved Home Connect applications use their official owner-consent OAuth pages; never enter manufacturer passwords in ResiArk.
  3. Discover devices, select an existing equipment or inventory record and optionally its underlying system, then explicitly enable monitoring. Discovery does not create equipment or enable every device.
  4. Respect Next allowed vendor synchronization. Dashboard refresh reads cached observations and does not cause additional vendor calls. Adapter minimum intervals do not guarantee refresh frequency. The current hosting schedule invokes the telemetry worker daily; actual observation age depends on scheduling, quotas, rollout flags and vendor delays.
  5. Review both vendor observation time and ResiArk receipt time. Missing vendor timestamps are labeled received snapshots. Stale readings and unavailable metrics are never treated as current zeros.
  6. History retains up to 90 days of observations when the worker is enabled; cached latest values can remain stale after disconnection. Sustained numeric/boolean review alerts and recovery records use an adjustable cooldown. Equipment notifications can use the existing durable reminder email/push channels after personal opt-in and operator activation. Runtime and usage maintenance appear only for supported evidence.
  7. Review Manufacturer availability and prerequisites in Connected Services for this deployment’s provider setup status. Operator setup, plan eligibility, account authorization and fresh device evidence are separate. Upgrading alone does not enable an unconfigured provider.
  8. Authentication expiry requires reconnecting. Rate limits, missing permissions and exhausted application budgets need a wait or operator review. Pending approvals and closed registrations cannot be fixed by entering a household password.
  9. Disconnect removes locally stored credentials and stops polling, preserving equipment and history. Also revoke API keys/app authorization in the manufacturer account.

Requires Ark+ or an eligible higher plan. Permissions and service configuration still apply.
